Molybdenum powder preparation process

  • Step 1: Pass molybdenum trioxide with a mass purity of not less than 99.95% through a 40-mesh sieve to obtain molybdenum trioxide powder.
  • Step 2: Load the molybdenum trioxide powder into the material boat at a loading amount of 2.0kg/boat to 4.0kg/boat for primary reduction to obtain molybdenum dioxide.
  • Step 3: Load the molybdenum dioxide into the material boat again at a loading amount of 1.0kg/boat to 2.0kg/boat for secondary reduction to obtain crude molybdenum powder.
    Step 4: Use a vibrating screen machine to screen the crude molybdenum powder in step 3 through a 160-200 mesh sieve to obtain the molybdenum powder under the screen.
    Step 5: Mix the molybdenum powder under the screen in step 4 in a mixer and obtain the finished molybdenum powder after natural cooling.

  • Particle size classification: Classify molybdenum powder according to different particle sizes.

Analysis of Molybdenum Powder Screening Characteristics

Adhesion: Molybdenum powder has a certain degree of adhesion and is easy to form agglomerates on the sieve, affecting the screening effect.
