Project Overview

This project comes from the needs of large pharmaceutical companies for API screening. They want to introduce advanced pharmaceutical sieving machine and technology to solve the problems of unqualified powder grade and dust overflow in the screening process of API powder.

Challenge

  1. High screening accuracy requirements: The screening of API powder needs to achieve extremely high accuracy to ensure that the quality of the drug meets the standard.
  2. Easy to block: APIs have high viscosity and strong adsorption, which can easily cause blockage or damage during the screening process, especially for fine raw materials such as capsule micro-pellets.
  3. Dust control is difficult: Dust is easily generated during the screening process, and effective measures must be taken to prevent dust from spreading and protect the production environment and personnel health.
  4. Production efficiency needs to be improved: While ensuring the screening quality, the screening efficiency needs to be improved to meet the needs of large-scale production.

The project uses rotary vibro sifter, dust-free feeding station, vacuum feeder, and other equipment to build an efficient and environmentally friendly API screening production line to meet the company’s 500kg/h processing capacity requirements and achieve fine grading of API powder within the range of 16-250 mesh.
